K-Force keeps evolving – right down to the details.
K-Force does not stand still – literally or figuratively. Kraker Trailers keeps on developing this successful trailer. And that means that even components which have proved themselves in practice for years are put under critical review. Can it be stronger, more durable, or just that bit better? That question was the starting point for developing a new door lock for K-Force.
Larger contact surface spreads the forces better
At first glance, the change may not look like much. Even so, Kraker Trailers addressed several points. The claw, for instance, has been given a larger contact surface, which spreads the forces better and reduces the risk of play and wear.
The lower section of the lock has been made more robust and the D-handle operation reinforced, because it is precisely the parts used heavily every day that have to be able to take a beating.
We also use new plastic wear bushes, so there is no longer a seam at the point where the forces are greatest. Fixed plastic bearings also help prevent damage to the paintwork. We upgraded the fasteners too, with durable, reliable mounting in mind. The new system is solid, neatly finished and low-maintenance.
What does not change is the appearance. The thick-walled tubes and polished stainless steel still deliver that unmistakable tough, robust K-Force look.
The new door lock is only available on new K-Force moving floor trailers.
