From intern to employee

Samuel de Kever started his internship at Kraker Trailers in 2016. Samuel had already heard about Kraker through word of mouth, but he could never have imagined that the company would become so significant to him.

“I came into the drawing office and was immediately given a very specific assignment, which was to develop a tool to secure the transverse beams on a part of the K-Force where there is no support frame." Samuel, who likes to go the extra mile for the company he works for and to develop himself further, grabbed the challenge with both hands. Samuel seized on this assignment. And much to his satisfaction, he was asked if he would like to continue working for Kraker right after his internship.

Meanwhile, Samuel has been working at the Masters in Moving Floor Trailers for five years. "K-Force is a moving product," Samuel says, and that is both literally and figuratively, he is happy to explain in more detail. "The difficulty level of building a trailer increased considerably. We build a trailer from a master model with all the customer-specific parts and options.”

Samuel is in close contact with suppliers to ensure the whole process runs smoothly. For example, axle suppliers. "Kraker Trailers now also supplies in Japan and they have a different take on trailers over there. The requirements there are different. And so it is in other countries too. We play into that.'' Kraker Trailers is a great company in a potentially growing market and region. The combination of that and a corporate culture where people listen to each other is a guarantee for the future.
