Tyre label helps with conscious choice of tyres

New label as of 1 May 2021

Tyres contribute to safety and to reducing fuel consumption and noise.
Kraker Trailers stands for quality and all of the vehicles are delivered as standard with A-brand tyres. As of 1 May, a new European law applies that ensures that manufacturers provide more information about the tyres to the end user. CO2 emissions and noise pollution can be reduced by making a more conscious decision.

The new label, EPREL, is intended to make the efficiency of a tyre more transparent.

Each new tyre is assigned a tyre label with a performance index for three sectors. The label specifies the rolling resistance (fuel consumption), wet grip (safety) and external rolling noise, among other things. The classification is from A (low) to G (high). The tyre label allows the end users to make an informed choice for a tyre that is safe, quiet and economical.

The new tyre label is a European regulation to improve road safety, reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions and make traffic quieter. Tyres can carry both the old and the new label. The old label will remain valid after 1 May 2021, provided the tyres meet the new standards. The data for these tyres must be entered by the manufacturer in the EU product database. Tyres that are brought to the market after 1 May must have the new label.

Information about the tyre label can be found on the product data sheet included with your offer. This clearly identifies the tyre classification and its advantages. Your Kraker trailer is always delivered with A-brand tyres. Ask your Kraker dealer for more information about the tyres.
