Our dealer Setanta knows exactly where Kraker stands apart from the rest: equipping a K-Force with options that make it fit in seamlessly with the customer's wishes. Setanta immediately achieved a first with an automatic roller tarpaulin that rolls up and down on the right-hand side, specifically for the UK market.
In the UK, trailers are usually loaded on the right side instead of the left, which is the European standard. That is why K-Force UK also placed all the controls on the right-hand side. At the request of one of Setanta's customers, a roof that rolls up and down on the right-hand side has now also been developed.
Different roofs for different applications
At Kraker, customers can choose from a variety of roofs. Regardless of the roof you choose, it will make working with your K-Force safer and faster. Setanta supplied a K-Force with an Over-Quick roof that can be operated from the cabin or standing next to the trailer. There is no need to climb the platform to open or close the roof. It is exactly this feature that makes the roof a good alternative to the standard roller tarpaulin.
The main advantages of the roof:
- The roof is guaranteed watertight and suitable for cargo that must remain absolutely dry.
- The standard swing-out upper beam at the rear makes work easier.
- The Over-Quick runs on the batteries of the towing vehicle, but can also be operated manually in the event of an unexpected power failure.
- The air support when the tarpaulin is unrolled guarantees a powerful closure.
This type of roof is often used in the agricultural sector and for transporting waste and bulk. As mentioned earlier, the version on the trailer that Setanta sells has been adapted for use on the English market. This required an extra effort from Kraker Trailers and from the supplier of the roof, but we are more than happy to go the extra mile to make a vehicle suitable for a specific customer.
