La Nettatutto was founded in 1968 under the name "Riva Felice." At the time it was as a sole proprietorship that saw a future in waste collection and disposal. Back then, there was very little focus on waste and the industry it would become. Riva Felice had a forward-thinking outlook and soon recognised that there was a great future in the waste sector. Right from the start, the company collected, transported, and processed waste in a professional manner. This approach helped them grow into one of the leading companies in the waste industry in Italy.
In 1983, the name was changed to La Nettatutto Srl and in 1985 Paolo Riva was appointed CEO of the company founded by his uncles. Under his leadership, the decision was made to divest from the company's own waste treatment facilities and instead focus entirely on the transport sector. Initially there were only 5 employees, but the company has since grown to more than 100 employees in 2024 and an annual turnover of approximately 25 million euros.
Kraker played significant role in growth of the waste transporter
The latest major development is recent: in February this year, La Nettatutto Srl was acquired by Mauffrey. This French company can justifiably be called a giant: it has been active in the transport sector since 1964, and it has more than 4,500 employees spread over more than 50 locations. This acquisition will allow La Nettatutto Srl to grow even faster than they have been doing over the past decades. According to Paolo Riva, Kraker Trailers has played a significant role in the company's development by supplying reliable, high-quality vehicles.
Paolo Riva recounts the company's journey: "The thing that sets us apart from others is our high level of flexibility and efficiency. Since I started here, we have not been closed a single day and customers can always count on us. In fact, this is similar to the way we can always rely on Kraker. In 2017, we purchased our first Kraker moving floor trailer, which was a used trailer. The year after that we bought a new trailer, and at present we have 16 Krakers, supplemented by four rented ones. We are planning to expand our fleet even further in the coming months."
After extensive market analysis, Kraker proved to be a good, strong partner
In response to the question of how contact with Kraker first came about, Paolo answers in detail. "Moving floor trailers were not new to us; we were already familiar with the concept. But we were actually looking for more than the previous supplier could offer. After an extensive market analysis aimed at identifying the best brands, a number of brands remained, including Kraker Trailers, with whom we have since built a good, strong relationshipThe trailers are a key part of what we do. They are reliable, top-quality products. I am not only pleased with the value for money, but also with the fast and efficient service provided by Kraker's dealer Multitrax. When repair or servicing is required, they respond quickly and professionally. To me, that is essential when buying a trailer. It's not only about the price, but also – or maybe especially – about the service you get after buying," said a satisfied Paolo.
K-Forces are used under a variety of conditions. Operating conditions are not particularly harsh at processing and incineration plants. This is in stark contrast to the old landfills where vehicles still have to travel on dirt roads, which is a more significant burden.
The K-Force concept offers clear advantages
When asked what Paolo Riva thinks of the bolted concept used with the K-Force, his answer is clear. "Kraker's trailers have a low tare weight, but they are very reliable. There are absolutely no structural issues. On the contrary, the K-Force concept provided a great advantage when we needed to replace parts after an accident. Bolted joints make it quicker and more efficient than cutting into a structure and then welding everything back in place again, which creates a weak spot."
Paolo concludes by saying that Kraker has been instrumental in the company's growth in recent years. As such, he wholeheartedly recommends Kraker Trailers' K-Force moving floor trailers to others.
